Dr. Chaitra Wirta-Leiker's Bio

Dr. Chaitra Wirta-Leiker is a licensed psychologist, transnational/transracial adoptee of color, and an adoptive parent. She specializes in providing mental health support through a Liberation Psychology lens in adoption, trauma, and racial identity work. She is an international speaker and trainer, the creator of the National Adoptee-Therapist Directory, and the author of the “Adoptees Like Me” illustrated series for elementary readers.
