Pam will share about her own personal and professional experiences in group therapy, list the differences between support and therapy groups, explore helpful aspects of group for the adoption community, help you create three simple steps toward joining or starting a group of your own, and demonstrate a short group experience to show specific interventions that are therapeutic.

Pam Greenstone, MA, LPC Pam is an adult adoptee from a same race domestic adoption in Dallas, Texas. Pam has been leading and participating in group therapy for over 20 years. She is a counselor in private practice in Austin, Texas and specializes in working with disordered eating, the LGBTQ+ Community, and adult adoptees. She loves group therapy and wonders why everyone isn’t in group.
