Adoption is a lifelong journey, and adopted individuals face different challenges during each stage of life. The late adolescent and early adult years offer unique opportunities for growth, independence, and identity formation, but also create new obstacles as life experiences expand beyond the shelter of the privileged umbrellas held by their parents. Learn about the common struggles of adopted individuals who are transitioning to college and beyond, and what you can do as an adoptive parent to support the development of strategies that will help them to be successful with the changes. Warning signs of more serious issues requiring professional intervention will also be described. Registration: $35 (non-transferable/non-refundable). The recording will automatically be emailed to all registrants within 24 hours of live air.
